Women Helping Women Luncheon - 2006

"I did enjoy the event because of the support and love that I felt from your guests towards your cause.  More global groups like the American Cancer Society, or the Red Cross, although very deserving for their contributions to our society so often over shadow the local organizations that are beneficial and essential to a community."

- Joanne Glover

We are pleased to let you know that we set a record in attendance - 450 paying guests were at our fourth annual Women Helping Women luncheon on June 23, 2006. This was our largest fundraiser yet, netted over $60,000 to help support LaCASA's programs and services!

This year's luncheon was hosted by Anita Padilla, NBC5 News Anchor, Reporter. Special Keynote speaker was Anne Ream, activist and communications expert, and founder of The Voices and Faces Project, and former Senior Vice President at Leo Burnett Worldwide.
